Consider donating your older cars to help MCPS high school students learn automotive trades. Rebecca and I recently donated two cars to the Automotive Trades Foundation, a nonprofit partnership of MCPS and community businesses. Donated cars are repaired, then sold, by high school students as part of their course work. It’s actually a student-run dealership, and the cars they sell come with MD state inspections. It’s a great program to support, especially given the need to give more young people the opportunity to go into important and valuable trades.

Rebecca and I bid farewell to our 1998 Honda Accord and 2005 Honda Odyssey, which each marked a big moment in our lives. Rebecca bought the Accord shortly before we were married. And, we bought the Odyssey when Bennett was born. Hopefully, someone else will soon be able to make further good use of them.  🙂
